Man on Fire is one of the few that sticks out in my mind at present. Apart from that I enjoyed The Pursuit of Happyness as well as Reign On Me.
I was watching The Departed again last night on one of our million movie channels, I swear I have the script memorized...:crasy: Another one I really like is Scary Movie (the first one), really the first and best spoof movie.

It's been a while since I've seen this thread, I've watched a few good movies since then. No Country For Old Men is interesting, totally dry and devoid of any emotion (no backround sounds/music AT ALL), I think it won best picture for 2007 too. The problem is, after I watch it, all of my conscious thoughts take on a Texas sounding accent for a few hours. :shead: American Gangster is good, a lot like Scarface, but it takes place early 1970s New York and it's about heroin instead of cocaine.
Yeah, no country for old men was strange in that aspect. The thing is though, most people just don't understand it, or the point of it. I think maybe that's why I liked it so much.
