Your Favorite Beer and/or Liquor

of course I've tried a few :iddi: :tiptoe: :drinking:.... Corona extra = nasty. I like Heineken so far, but I don't have a "favorite" beer Haha. I tried this Japanese beer, forgot the name...

Sipping on a cold Bud Select right now. I'm a big fan of Hoegaarden as well. Also partial to Michelob AmberBock.

I had some Bells Cherry Stout on Sat. and their HopSlam last night. Both were excellent brews.

 

I drank quite a few vokda/Red Bulls.

 

Hoegaarden yesterday for me. Went to a World Market on Sat. and saw it and remembered P1et posting it as one of his faves so I bought some. Tried it for the first time yesterday and thought it was great. Damn P1et first the yellow and black MFs and now this...bro you are on a roll!

 

I had a few Hoegaardens on Saturday night while out for my mom's b-day. Drank some 1919 rum on Friday night. It's a rum from Trinidad & Tobago. There's a guy on my project team that's from there and brought me some back from Xmas break. Really smooth stuff. Then yesterday I fired things up at about 4 with a Tilt, followed by multiple Bud Lights for the Super Bowl party. Had to go the distance, so BL is drink of choice for those times.

Wolf, I am VERY happy that you bought some and that you LOVED IT! Be sure to chill it perfectly before enjoying it. Also, I never drink it out of the bottle, I have the real Hoegaarden glasses at the house. Makes it even BETTER! Really wish I was having one RIGHT NOW!

Pat, I'll be honest with you: that stuff will make you have the most FOOKED UP dreams EVER! I get the bigger bottles (I think 750 mil) and not too long ago I drank an entire Delirium NOCTURNUM. MAN OH MAN, let's just say it involved MIDGETS. I thought it was just a freak occurance, but NO! A few weeks later I had a large bottle of DELIRIUM TREMMENS and DAMN DAMN another MESSED UP dream!!! This stuff messes with your head, it's AWESOME DUUUUUUUUDE!

Just remember, there is a reason why there are pink elephants on the labels!!!

I discovered just how tasty Hoegaarden is last week. Bought a couple of 6 packs for the Superbowl. Drank one tonight. Man that's some good beer.:yippie:

 

Hoegaarden is a great beer. Perfect on a warm summer day.

If you like Belgian beer check out Brewery Ommegang in NY, they specialize in Belgian inspired beers. Their 3 Philosophers, Abbey Ale and Rare VOS are excellent. They also make a Saison and a Wit, have not had them yet.

 

mannn I have been doing "research" for this thread for 3 days in a row, tomorrow will make it 4.

Yesterday was a mess haha 2 pitches, a good part of a bottle of royal reserve and half a pitcher....oh man University is bad. I have had 2 beers a few mins ago with some friends, and I must say that Rickards white goes down so easy. haha Canadian now goes down like water because I am so used to the taste.

Tomorrow I am trying out delerium ... haha 5 days in a row!! Yikes. I am excited to see how it is.
