amazing! god I wish somebody would pay me to be able to do work like that. all I get is nasty minivan interiors and the odd cheap 1 stage correction. He charged so much, he was able to refinish the valve cover plates! he did a super nice job on that car. I wonder what he used on the wheel well plastics, it's very glossy, which I don't like...but kind of do....maybe it's just because it's on a GT!
that's amazing. thnx for sharing that. What he did with those "Powered by Ford" plates was impressive.
awesome stuff now that's detailing, another 40 grand an I think I would have enough for all the toys used detailing this baby
My work computer nearly just crashed from looking at that lol Nice work with an awesome ending. I really dont think those pictures do that car justice.
Ah..average at best!!.... just kidding amazing he did everything but take the car apart to detail it!! :applause:
yep I saw this the other day, I wanna know how come I never see paul or whoever do this level of detail?
I know, it seems like I'm endlessly cleaning up messes made by other people's children in vans and SUV's, I feel less like a detailer and more like a house cleaner That car looks amazing, although looking at that page nearly blew up my computer :crash:
I'm sure they do them but the time it takes to put together a write up like that is staggering. Some times even the little write ups I do will take 3 hours.
Im sorry Ken, but I don't believe in that.. cuz they have time to put these cool videos up n not a write up?? I do understand his a very busy man, but I have never seen a write up like this from him or so called top detailers that get paid top $$$$$. Maybe they are just that lucky =)
Paul has a photographer/videographer with him on some of his details - loading a video, and editing it is not a 5 minute job, but nonetheless, very few people will document a detail quite as much as Kelly does with his camera. Once done, a video is dead easy to upload and paste into a thread, photos, each one individually copied and pasted, along with the writing that goes with it, is a much more arduous task with that quantity of images. Kelly has been painting, polishing, rebuilding, fixing, servicing, and cleaning cars for the past 16+ years, and is at a whole other level compared to the likes of those detailers that this forum puts on a pedestal. He's been detailing for longer than the word had any meaning on this side of the pond, and I wonder how many top detailers even use a gloss meter, never mind own one.
