Depends on what basis Roy is quoting a percentage - of wax content or of total jar content.
This is what happens when people don't fully understand the numbers they see mentioned elsewhere - throwing numbers about with wild abandon is meaningless and pointless since no-one would notice if two jars both saying 50%, were in fact one with 50% and another with 45%.
Side by side perhaps, but in isolation - not a chance in hell.
So, like Dodo Juice and Rubbishboy, I wouldn't bother playing the numbers game.

Awesome! I'd love to test this one out. I have about 4 vehicles to try it out on, and different colors :D

yeah i learned my lesson in that regard a while ago when i first started using the lusso. are you thinking that this rule of thumb will still be applicable for the newer version or will it allow for longer cure times?

    I like your thinking Phil.:thumb:

Cool, can't wait to try one out.

It will be the same, Phil already stated that it be very easy to remove but with a higher nuba content.

That would be great, I loved the pics from the car you tested it on. I have been looking at Lusso but now may want to wait and see the new formula. Can you say what has been changed, such as nuba content and such?

What is going to be interesting to see if whether Lusso can invent a new way that is different and better than the existing waxes in the $50-$150 range. There are already so many waxes in this bracket--Pinnacle Souveran, Pinnacle Signature, Wolfgang Fuzion, CG 5050, Victoria Red, P21S 100, Blackfire Midnight Sun, Rubbish Boy's OE, the various Dodo Juice waxes, AG High Definition, Zymol Glasur, Swissvax Saphir, Wet Obsession. Can Lusso create a new wax that distinguishes itself from all the others? Surely it's not just a matter of adding more carnauba to the Lusso Oro formula. Several waxes are already pushing the carnauba envelope. I remember reading a comment by Rubbish Boy Ben where he said that he could have added more carnauba to his original edition, but to do so he would have had to decrease the amount of beeswax, which in turn would have diminished the look of his wax.

One reason Lusso Oro has gained a following is because it gives a Souveran-type look at a cost less than the above-mentioned waxes. It will be interesting to see if Lusso can now create an even better wax.

I would go for the oro its going to be awhile before we have something solid on this one.

exactly yes the sell factor is more carnauba content but we may be looking into something else to add to create the depth and gloss.

I recently washed/clayed and waxed it with Lusso (the new stuff we are working on).

    Enjoy.

Phil is it me or does it look a little cloudy? well a little haze?

The CF spoiler looks spot on but the silver doesn't seem to react well with the wax.

So that's how you spend all our money:thumb: Nice car Phil. All of the work that I have seen you post, the reflections are very crisp. So I know your correcting ability is top notch. The paint does look some what cloudy. Not trying to be an arse, just constructive.

    +2

I noticed this on the Cobra photos as well - the wax looks pretty nice, and appears to have LOTS of "depth" - but maybe at the expense of crisp, sharp reflections...

    BTW: off-topic, Phil, but an RS6 and a 996TT?!? You're my hero! :worship2:

yup its a bit muted for now, its extremely warm and wet looking for a silver car yup at the expense of the metallic flakes for now.

so here is the short list of testers (its just going to depend on how many I get)

    1. FMINUS
    2. Clever Nickname
    3. Dave KG
    4. Jim@Auto Perfection
    5. mrgolfrider
    6. c32AMG-DTM
    7.
    8.
    9.
    10.

What I'm looking for in a tester is a person who has used it all and will get frequent cars and colors.

    Black/White/Silver/Blues/metallics

    Has used sealants and waxes

    Can get the feedback quick.

The faster we have feedback the quicker we can tweek it.

Also should I do a non scented one and scented one?
