Wolf's new nano sealant "Hard Body" is ready!!!

I tried to add it to order 41246 (wanting to hold shipping until you released Hard Body) ordered on 7/5 and shipped today... but it went into order 41420 (7/7) and will ship soon (I hope).... I am awaiting to see how this stands up to Opti-coat 2.0... I understand demand has been crazy..... (Good for you and Wolf's)

Is Hard Body safe on paint protection film/Clear bra ??

Wow Phil those pics look great, did you wetsand the surface?! The reflection clarity looks like a show quality paint job. Either way great job

 

oem paint 20 hours of paint correction with a rotary and surbuf M105 and D300, then griots and mf cutting pad Sonax 5/5 and finally griots and uber green pad and Sonax 3/6.

hard paint and a super nice prep job prior to the hardbody!

 

Phil, can you comment on the application process? Does it go on the same as BW or do you need to do something different?

All I want to know is how it stacks up to Opti-Coat. I want the look but I care more about protection and scratch protection.

 

I interested in its dust attraction, or lack of, characteristics; especially on plastic bumpers.

 

As far as dust repelling properties....if it's anything like bw, it should be superb. BW on any car that I have applied attracts zero dust at all.

 

Can hard body be applied over BW?

 

I'd like to know as well.

Also, how long does it take for the sealant to cure to a half-hardness and full hardness? That's one of the things I didn't like about Opti-coat, is the 3 month wait time until full hardness is reached.

 

I have read Jesse's post saying that you CAN apply over BW

 

I can confirm this also. I asked Jesse a while ago on DW and he said HB can definitely be used on top of BW.


I just finished applying the HB on my brother's car. Holy moly... either I am super excited about this product, or it really does look even more wet than BW. Either way, what a terrific product. Can't wait to put the second coat on tomorrow.
