I didnt say about someone not using it, I said you shouldnt discourage someone getting it or using it because you can't figure out how to use it with a pc. It will work with a pc/udm but it will just take a little bit longer. They say to use it with a rotary, but there is nothing saying you cant use it with a pc/udm. So what are you trying to get at, just because you cant get it to work with a pc you a going to revert back to Menzerna saying to use it with a rotary, is that your excuse or out, come on.

I have used Menz PG/SIP/106FF all with a PC and have had nothing but stellar results...

As I said before and always have ... they will work fine with a PC and produce results.... it just won't be as user friendly ... simple as that. I personally want a product that is easy to use. You use whatever works for you, all that I can do is share my experiences. And I don't see anyone posting techniques on how to "properly" use Menz with a PC soooo let's just leave it at that. This thread is about Wolfgang polishes and nothing to do with Menzerna and my opinions on it.

I figured with all your opinions you would know how to use menzerna correctly. If anyone asks/and has I will be more than happy to help them. There are numerous people on here and ag I have helped through pm's to properly use Menzerna. Plus I just dont see the point in the review when you can just buy Menzerna out right.

Maybe you should try small pad on the UMD? I don't have one but I know with the PC I never had great results with a 6.5 pads, with ANY polishes.

When I made the switch to 5.5 low profile pad it made all the difference.

I dont understand why someone would pay 2x the price for a product that "acts" like a product thats 1x the price.

Menzerna is pretty user friendly IMO.....(not saying it wont act up from time to time)

Thanks for taking the time out to test a new product. Maybe some others after procuring this product can give it a try and see what happens.

Will do. I have plenty of 5.5 low pro pads and 4 inch pads and I will give it a go with these products.

I was interested to see if Wolfgang added anything to the Menz to make it a hybrid of both, which they may have done but I personally can't tell, since I have never used SIP which MAK says is very similar to the TSR3.0

Thanks. I am interested to see what others have to say and see how they use the products.

Thanks, I don't mind doing reviews because it they are beneficial to all. This is my first review on DB ... so we'll see if more will come or not.

My thing is this, as someone who is new to this I clicked on the thread thinking there would be 3 pages of feedback on the products and instead I get 3 pages of people jumping up your butt because you have posted on various forums that you don't like to use Menz with a random orbital but instead prefer using it with a rotary. So instead of expounding further upon your findings with these products you have to defend your previous findings which IMO have little or nothing to do with this thread. I don't understand the mob mentality with Menz (its obviously a good polish but people act like its the second coming...) and that you can't speak negatively about it or they come and brandish you with a scarlet M. Just because someone else has found it to be difficult to use with PC/UDM/G110 etc. and you have found it to work fine doesn't make you right and the other person wrong. Different people using the same thing will often yield different results. There are to many variables in the equation not to. Just my .02.

Fast forward a few months and here is an updated review of the Wolfgang TSR3.0. I have used the duo with various machines, pads and weather conditions. I have yet to have any difficulties nor almost any dusting. At times the TSR dusts a little but more of the time it doesn't dust at all, even with a PC or UDM, surprisingly. When using a DA with these products, I have found the 4" pads to be key, with 2 dots of product on the pad. Via rotary, any polishing pad will suffice. Many think that TSR3.0 is identical to SIP but after reading the horror stories of SIP, I find it very hard to believe. TSR3.0 is a breeze to use. The only issues I have had with the TSR3.0 was via D/A in the above review when it was 45 degrees in the garage. Since then I have used it when it was hot, hot and humid, very humid and when it was cool. Not once was it difficult to work with.

Anyways, onto the pictures. The vehicle in the pics will have an appropriate thread in the future, so take this as a tease. The paint is single stage BTW. I used only TSR3.0, UDM, and 4" LC light cut pad.

Taped up for 50/50 shots, notice the marring:

Not bad for a product that will remove that marring yet leave a darn near LSP finish ...

Great review. I just ordered this a few days ago. Just like you said in the beginning, IP doesn't do much with a pc.

did you spritz the pads with the pinnacle pad conditioner prior ?

what about 5.5 inch pads ? was it good enough on the udm ?
and 2 peas on the pad sounds good ! more economical

I tried the pinnacle in the first test but lately I have simply been using 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water. I believe that was the recommendation by CMA a few years ago when they first carried Menzerna. It works well to prime pads and to aid in oily residue removal after polishing as well. The 5.5" pads did work as well, but may require a few more dabs of polish on the pad, depending on the size of area you are working on. As with most polishes, speed 6 will be your friend with a PC and UDM. Mine was ... until it began losing power today and bogging with the slightest amount of pressure. I doubt there are any replacement parts available for it like there are for the PC 7424's ...

The only problem I've had was with SIP in humid weather. Look it down and you have a miracle product. Too much humidity and you just want to throw the bottle away!
