I just put them on medium heat and it seems to work well.

I have never had problems with lint before until today 10/23. I always wash perm. press warm/cold and dry low to no heat. My detergent is CG MF Wash and vinegar. These setting have never caused me issues before until now for some reason. I swear it's like I cleaned my lint filter and rubbed it all across the paint and the lint won't wipe off for the life of me. I wash the DD Ubers separate from the other Ubers. WHAT IS HAPPENING???????

This is exactly what happened to me with my towels. I wash them with either a MF detergent or a proper soap and rack dry them. After washing I noticed this horrible lint on my cars that I could not get off for the life of me. On my black car it was driving me crazy.

I have 6 of these towels and have used 3 of them. I need to wash them with the methods that Ken described to see if it fixes my linting. I love the towels if they wouldn't lint.

I hear ya! When it happened I was like wtf. I thought there was something tacky on the paint and it was pulling the fibers out. I will try to wash a different way next time but as I said it has never happened to me before washing them the same identical way.
