Was at the Washington DC Auto Show this past weekend and couldn't help but walk by a stand with a guy selling Perma-Seal wax/polish. They did many demonstrations showing how acid could not penetrate the wax's supposed hard finish. They also demonstrated swirl marks in the paint and how the application of this product could remove them (WHICH IT DIDN'T!!!) but they had people reaching for bottles it was crazy. It is crazy they would lead people on like this and he blatantly said it was a filler polish, not telling people the next time they washed their car their swirls would return, hence buying more of this product. Has anyone ever heard of them or see the same thing I saw?

Yeah, they're always at the St. Louis auto show right next to the sham wow guys. I remember last year I stopped and struck up a conversation with the guy selling the stuff. I asked if it's just a glaze that covers up the swirls and scratches. He bascially replied yes. Then I started in on why not just remove the swirls all together and he quickly and politely wrapped up with me as some customers were walking up. To me, it's basically a gimmick product.
