I have RBOE, did not like the application, but the results were great!

Maybe I should elaborate a bit:

The wax felt very gritty when I was applying it, I had to check under 2 different lights to make sure I wasn't marring the paint. Constantly having to heat up the applicator pad with my 1000 watts working lamp gets old too.
But it yielded fantastic results, my paint now looks deeper, glossier, and wetter than it did with the Menz powerlock + P21S 100% combo. However, P21S 100% did give it a sharper image reflection.

Honestly, SN was gonna be my next wax... But i got a sample and I really dont like it that much.

I dont like the SN texture and grit, and it just doesnt look "Supernatural" to me. I think the Autoglym HD looks better than SN

side note anyone having issues opening this thread sometimes....?

as for rboe, it is gritty as it has lots of nuba in it...my SV wax's are also little grainy but it is just the nature of it...what i do when apply it is just move the applicator fast over the top and load it up from the start then just rub the surface with the app fast and normally gets a fine layer...or i put the pot in front of lamps for 30 or so min while i am getting ready to wax to soften it up a bit.

IMO, SN was like SUPER gritty. I hope ROBE isnt as gritty as SN.

I also really want a pot of Lusso.... I heard it goes on like butter sex pancakes.

JL told me he heats up his applicator pads with a hair dryer and it makes RBOE go on thin and really easy.

don't really have any wax in mind. I guess Collinite 845 when I run out. I just got AG HD last week.

Haha. The Lusso really does go on and off surprisingly easy...easier than any other wax I've tried

I just received a tub of Fuzion and Lusso Ora..... Did a Mercedes with STD white paint, 2010.

The Lusso went on and off like butter. The Fuzion was also prety easy to use.

Honestly I couldn't really see a big difference between the two waxes.. Both looked great!

Will prob try a Swiss vas Concorso or maybe the Swissvax below the Concorso.

if you are going to try a swissvax wax, id go for blau weiss

my reasoning is this. I have already owned concorso and mystery and neither provided enough protection from water spots. They, along with most of the swissvax range, are old school formulae. Id like to think blau weiss and that other new wax for white cars they release at the same time should benefit from the newer advances in polymers etc you find in all the newer waxes

SV wax was too hazy in humid for me. I use 1000P on everything, I go through so much of it. Looks and SLICK on every color comes off very easy. Outlasts anything side by side. I just bought 2 more cans today on auto aesthetica's xmas sale to go through winter preps.

#2685 Pinkwax from FK is VERY nice wax too but nobody talk about it bc its not "in". very wet on solid colors and dark color

I mainly use Zaino as a sealant, just as any other sealant and I still get excellent results. I have quite a few waxes but was looking to expand into the sealant line. Thinking wolfgang or bfwd, can't decide... Anyone want to chime in their experiences?

^Domino ... what do you think of SW Shield ?

Swissvax USA: Shield with non-stick PTFE, 200ml (separate wax)

  19. domino

    domino Welcome to Detailing

ive never used shield, but given the durability ive seen on concorso and mystery, i wouldnt buy into the hype of it being a competitor to collinite or naviwax for durability

plus it was uncovered long ago that teflon requires extremely high temperatures (570+) and a rough surface to actually bond to paint, so it's an even a bigger marketing gimmick than swissvax itself

kdude, my shield comes in January cuz of Vegas reasons if it was dispatched when i placed the order =p
I can get you some durability updates on it when i get it as i'll have to re-apply everything by then on both my cars.
