Me and the g/f go to some MMA fights tonight. We have ring side seats. I mean ring side seats. I'm less than two feet from the cage. Its crazy!! I'm sitting right next to a judge. I mean right next to the guy. I can see the score card as easily as I'm writing this. Anyway. The fights were good. They originally had 18fights on the card, somehow that was reduced to 6. So we go back to the casino where we're staying. We get on the elevator and Kenny G the sax player walks in behind us and gets on the elevator with us. He's even carrying his sax in a case. I couldnt say anything. Its one of those moments where you're like there's no way this is happening. Anyway. The fights were okay. I got a ton of pics. I'll post them tomorrow afternoon. Heath

Here's a few. Bear in mind, I was at the mercy of the lighting and couldnt use a flash. I used my new (2 me) 28-135mm lens. Almost thought I should have brought the 50mm I was so close.
Hey Seth!! It was pretty cool. It was pretty weird sitting and talking to one of the judges. They showed us our seats and the judge and exchanged names and a hand shake. We talked about the fights too. My lens kept wanting to zoom in on the fencing. The lighting was aweful one second, and worse the next.

Great pics, sounds like a great time! Dunno really what to say about kenny g. Does he still have the curly mullet?
Wow, those are some good pics as I know the 28-135 isn't the best in low lighting. Steady hand mate, steady hand!!!
The fights were pretty good. I just wish they had more. The card originally had 18 fights. Then we get there and find out there's only 6. So that sucked. The first fight sucked. The next fight lasted 52 seconds. The rest were pretty good. They hit the fencing in front of us a couple of times. It was pretty cool cuz the ppl beside me would lean back when they would hit the fencing. Yeah Kenny still has that curly hair on him. He short and weighs about a buck 25.
