hahaha wife was freaking out when I jumped on your buddies Cobra hahahaha she said watching him spin out several times made her "nervous" hahahahaha I thought it was funny.

If I don't get the Porche I wouldn't mind taking a stab at it with your car but I'm hoping I can get DB Boss' daily beater..lol..Porche that would be sweet...I still can't believe that guy with the Gallardo. The Gallardo has way too much power for such a little course but the driver handled it well.

Well the deal with the wife is that I would get a sports car for my self and I still need to replace the rust bucket Jeep...so the Merc. E class AMG (not sure what year just yet) to replace the Jeep and the Atom or a Ferrari would be sweet for a sports car/toy.

I'd love to have the Atom though, in such events it would handle insane..heck in any event the Atom would do incredibly well.

Well time will tell though ...I would have a hard time bringing the Ferrari to such even though...um..maybe

On if I get the Porche I'll need your help registering and well getting my feet wet.

Oh by the way, what do you get if you win? Is there a price? if so what is it?

hahaha yea, I thought she may have been. Tylers a great driver, but was just trying to match my time.....I guess he couldn't in the fun runs:applause2::p:

Well you're welcome to use the mustang if you can't get the "daily beater". Maybe one night this week we can get together, clean it up and throw our decal on it to show it off a bit? :thumb:

Well it sounds like next spring it's time for you to go out and look at a few cars then!!! THe mercedes E class cars are beautiful, as long as you're a 2003+ it'll be great.

Just let me know, if you need a hand Im full of the imformation.Heck, maybe DB boss himself needs to come on out and take a stab at it too!!

So do you have a specific price range for your toy car Carlos?

Yea, I could tell Tyler knew what he was doing....I wold need a bunch of test runs to get used to the vehicle. Reason I wand the Porche is because I've pushed that vehicle a bit and I've driven it enough that I would feel comfortable in it..well semi comfortable. DB Boss is hardly ever in town..shame because he loves such events...he's home for only 5 days out of the month then he's out of the country  that's okay I take care of his vehicles :cheerl:

Your Mustang handled well, I wonder how I would do with it :shead:

Yes, the Mercedes will be more like 2006 or 2007 :thumb: I may need your help with the two vehicles I'll eventually be getting :peace:

Price range..mmm..for the Merc. E AMG yes but for the sports car..um..not really...but it can't be more then $250k  That's what makes it so hard to choose from because for that price range I can get just about anything I want

I mean heck I could get the F-430 I've always wanted for that price range or I could get the Arial Atom and save some coin or the Arial Atom and a Ferrari 360  like I said I'm just taking my time choosing...I'm in no rush so I need to make a very educated decision that's all.

nice, I just wish we had more open course events down here, but it is nice having a 1/4 mile track 15 miles from me, but then again my car is set up for the 1320. what are the mods you've got on that GT?

Well, it will definitely depend on what you plan to do with your sports car. I mean I could suggest a lot of vehicles to you but it looks like you're pretty set on certain cars, hehe. Anyway, I'm sure you know what you're looking for already. :thumb:

Yeah, my car is set up more for the open track events, tubular welded subframes, full suspension, caster camber plates, upsized tires(275 front and 295 rears) up from a 245 set all around, as well as 18 in instead of the stock 17s, Baer 13" fronts with slotted and drilled rotors and a 13" track kit for the rear from Baer with matching rotors umm.....other then that just an intake, and xpipe w. catback.

Carlos, did you know you can't register an ariel atom in canada? They don't meet our street regulations, so they are a track venue only car.(ie tow it there and home). if you were thinking of going with a Ferrari, I'd be tempted to go with the 360 just based on savings. I've had the chance(read as luck) to drive a 430 as well as a 360....the difference is definatly there. 360 is a VEEERRRRY tricky little so and so, but VERY rewarding and fun to drive. If you wanted to save some coin but still get a sweet vehicle, then there is always the R8(can get one new for 135), or a 911S too. As far the Eclass amgs....well you know how much I love those!

My car handles fairly well, and as long as you dont get too gas happy there isn't much to worry about. Plus, even if you were to spin out, there isn't really anything there to hit other then a few pylons

So you can't register an Atom huh..well that's no fun  :shakehead:

I've seen some 360's at some reasonable prices same goes for the F-430's but it's the maintenance that I'm looking in to them at the moment.

R8 isn't a bad vehicle but the new Nissan GT-R dosen't look bad at all ;)

It wasn't bad at all. It my first time ever doing anything like that, I had help from a friend that is a BMW tech but he has never touched an american car in his life. I follwed the directions I found on the net, back then there was s ite dedicated to the swap it has since been taken down. Just a few wire splices was it really took.

I was going to suggest the GT-R, hehe. :applause2:

I really think it's the best bang for the buck vehicle out there. Of course, everyone else may have a different opinion.
