I understand you were going through tough times and things may not have been going your way but that still does not give you the right to keep peoples money.

This will be my last post in this thread but I have to ask...

For what reason were you keeping peoples money? If you did not see a future in the magazine either due to your personal life or financial troubles, why couldnt you have just refunded those who didnt receive what they paid for? It wouldnt have been a hard or time consuming task

Either way, good luck I guess and I hope everyone gets what they deserve.

Most peoples money was tied up on the subscription the intention to come back with issue 3 it just took so long with one thing and another.

The past issue will still bite me on the a** but issue 3 as those who subscribed will find out will be a breath of fresh air. watch this space

I hope son to put this entire thread to bed and, with nicos allowance build a trust with us followers

 

I'm owed issues 3&4, but recently moved. How can I get them sent to my knew address? I paid for a years subscription but only received issues 1-2, and then everything went belly up.

 

i think the people that paid should be upset and declaring to have their money back or subscription fulfilled.

i had a subscription with stuff magazine for two years. then six months later the decided to stop and to replace that sub. i got sent blender mag. Well what do you know they stopped too. this time then they are going to send me Maxim magazine for the remainder of the subscription. if somebody paid you then you owe them. that subscription the people got is like a contract and you have broken that contract. you are liable regardless of financial hardship. if you are going to start over then use another name and no body can tell you anything regarding previous subscriptions. My 2 cents.

 

To be honest I'm leaving this thread open because I feel members deserve to speak their mind, having said that I hope a certain level of respect is maintained. No one will be banned for what is said on this thread, what happened with the magazine and those who subscribed or paid to advertise have a right to speak freely and they can do so here...I just ask that you keep the profanity to a minimum that's all, there are other words to get your point across please don't stoop to foul language there really is no need.

Having said that, I honestly don't see anything wrong with what you said Dsoto87, you spoke your mind and rightfully so, I'm sure your not the only one that feels that way.

WAXiT I have sent you a PM, have you read it yet? I need a reply.

As i have posted earlier all subscriptions will be fulfilled

I feel keeping the name is the right thing to do.

as above all subs are being sent out as normal

 

so simon you are going to fix everything up right? so people who subscribed for a whole year (issue 1-4), do they have to email to remind you about names and addresses?

All the best going forward, as mentioned mistakes happen, etc. Hopefully you have learned alot from the whole experience and attempt 2 will bear more fruit

 

No i have a file with all names and address's there is about 5 or 6 i need to update.

I have checked orders and it looks like 3 orders should have been sent to the US not two and i think its Hostage who hasnt been sent,

im sure people understand my frustrations. to er is human, i just wish it wasn't MY magazines.

I go away for a few months and all hell breaks loose! I'd personally like to see the magazine succeed as its a great idea. Hopefully Simon will get all straightened out and we'll all be able to enjoy a fantastic magazine. Anyone got issues one and two available? I haven't seen them yet.
