How long do you go between washes?? Lately around here in Mississippi, it gets cold, warms up to 50 degrees and then the next day it rains. Then the cycle starts over. I havent got to wash my car in a month. Its driving me crazy too. I'd wash it but it the fact that, it gets warm and then it turn arounds and rains. This probably doesnt effect too many ppl here but my driveway is gravel (we have running water btw hehehe) and it really makes a mess of my car. Hopefully by this weekend I'll get to wash it. If it doesnt I might have to ask a doc for some Xanax. Anyone else have to wait long periods of time before washing your car?? Happy Detailing, Heath:waiting:
I wash my car every week (even when it's snowing out). I have the luxury to use a heated garage during the winter.. In the winter I do it more so just for peice of mind as opposed to being for aesthetics.. I hate knowing there is salt on my paint that has been sitting there
I get mine every 1-2 weeks. I go insane if I have to look at them dirty for more than that plus its not very good for business. "Yeah I detail cars even if mine is filthy" line doesn't go over too well. Oh and I had to open this thread. You know how on the front page you don't always see the whole thread title, just a partial and the poster's name....well when I saw Washing "your" Cooter I had to see what was going on in here!
I wash mine as much as possible in the winter. Its usually on the weekend. I do have access to a heated garage on occassion so I take advantage whenever I can.
It's really spontaneous in the winter for me. I try for only one week in between washes, but sometimes it can be a month. It just depends on the weather on the weekends. I too hate it when I know that there is salt all over the truck. ONR is my best friend.
Every week and I even ONR in between. My van has to stay clean, my company name and phone # are on it.
