Standing up in the back would be nice. I'm 6'3 and finding something to accommodate that isnt easy, thought the trailer i looked at came CLOSE (it was about 6'1). It was a 6x10, very roomy and of course would keep the fumes away. Never considered that an issued for the most part as i do usually drive with the windows down. It hardly rains in the desert lol.

The vans...the big box ones specifically, i can see as being beneficial but man, im sorry, they're ugly lmao. Maybe all tricked out with a good wrap would help but i can't park one of those things in front of where i live...thats why i needed something that could double as a daily driver. And i can still write off mileage (as i do now) i just log every trip BUSINESS wise down, from start to finish and that way i can keep business and pleasure separate. The trailer im no absolutely for sure about, but leaning towards it. A pick up woudl be nice to have as i find myself always needing to haul something big for one reason or another, and while we make due with our mini fleet of vans we have here lol (a safari and express) sometimes a pick up would just be nicer. But, if i found the right SUV, i'd jump all over it for sure.

VERY true. The only reason i would get a tank is if i got some fleet washes going. And being in Az it would be year round, and probably pretty often since shit gets dusty fast out here. I found a place that sells a tank that gives 400-500 gallons of spot free water for only $10/mo rent and $25 extra per each change out. Id get it and a tank IF i got some fleet washes like i said. It would save a bundle of time if i was working on site at a business, but i'll cross that bridge when i get to it. First thing is a new vehicle and like ya said, i could probably make things work out of JUST a SUV or even a crew cab pick up.

Ive thought about that too, but mobile detailers aren't seen too often out here. There are some, but not a lot from what ive seen. Rent is expensive and whether you're busy or not you still gotta pay rent. All i gotta do with a vehicle is buy gas and if im not working or have a slow week, i dont have to pay for it :). A fixed set up would sure be nice and VERY convenient, but i just cant swing it right now...too expensive. Maybe one day.

Why do you say "Az must have some nice cars" ???

lol, just drive around wearing a mask...that wont look crazy or anything "No officer really...its just detailing fumes...what, building a bomb? No!"

    Agreed!!

I have a friend who detailed from his Tahoe for years. It worked well and he was able to fit everything he needed in the back. It was his personal vehicle as well and he fixed it up with some wheels and a lowering kit and it looked great.

Now he has a truck and it works out well too but nothing is secure unless you get a lockable bed cover.
