Unfortunately so many camera are now made in China...not the best quality, I tell you.
I have a VCR, that's older then me (I'm almost 26), and still works. Panasonic, made in Japan...

I have an old 12 inch Sony TV still working!! I don't know how old it is but it's pretty dang old
