so roger (slanguage) and myself finally met up at his house down in philly and finally put the faces to each others names. what a great guy he is i must say! reason for the trip was for a little trade we had arranged, but it ended up being an hour and a half of us just chat-chitting (thats right, chat-chitting) about detailing, different products, the forums, etc. it was really nice to be able to "let loose" and talk about detailing like that with someone who is as into it as i am. my girlfriend came with us, and after she stood there with me probably bored out of her mind the whole time, we got in the car to leave and she was like "wow, you guys are absolutely crazy about detailing. i didnt understand anything you guys were saying, all i heard was different number and letter combination's with some real english thrown in there hahaha".

and what an impressive arensenal roger has! (i want one of those craftsman cabinets BAD now). damn does he have a lot of MF too. i was quite impressed.

anyways, just wanted to share my experience and how much of a pleasure it was to pick brains with another detailer.

....i foresee a slanguage/billyblooshoes joint effort detail in the near future :giggle:

haha yeah i love picking brains with people who are into detailing! especially when the forums are pretty much the only means to do so...

 

haha you guys are badddd. although i am confused. roger is married (i think...?), and i brought my girlfriend to his house with me. i was going to have mine just sit in the car and wait, but she insisted that she come in to be there, because she though it would be "cute" to hear us go on and on about detailing and different products etc.

 

It's always fun getting together with individuals that share the same passion for detailing, specially when you can see another persons detailing collection :woo: :woo:
