Pirex showed me his newly waxed computer, so I figured I`d support him in not being the only crazy norwegian in here:comfort: I bought my CG 5050 Limited Series Concourse Paste Wax from Scandic Shine, and haven`t been able to test it on my Audi S2 yet, because of the temperature outside, so I figured I`d test it out on my guitar instead:crasy: Before: After Menzerna 106FF: After wax: This is what we norwegians do when there`s not enough snow to play with our quattros:cool2:
ooooh that looks great Marwin, man the last two pictures really show the reflection :thumb: did you apply the 106FF by hand or machine? I'm assuming by hand but just curious. Oh what is the image of, it loooks like an animal I'm guessing deer? What's with the chinese writing (no offense to anyone) or are those Norwegian letters which would make more sense considering your in Norway :duh: hahahahaha Thanks for sharing, so you play the guitar huh...what kind of music do you play?
Thanks Nica Yeah, the depth was great with this wax! Regarding application of the 106FF, I did it by hand. That`s why I couldn`t get rid of ALL the small swirls... Amazing how many swirls a guitar can have... About the picture you can see there, it`s a reflection from the TV (Animal Planet was on ), and the letters are norwegian, seen upside-down, and reverse.:giggle: I mostly like to play alongside a CD of Metallica, preferrably Black Album.:worship:
I will say it again, NICE GUITAR!! Why haven`t you played for me? LOL. Nica: this is a norwegian word -> Hei, hva driver du med? That means: Hey, what are you doing?
oooh I can just imagine the pronunciation on that :eyebrow: Man hat's off to you guys that can speak, write and understand English :applause:
Looking good bro, love the pop...... I saw a program on Fender a few nights ago, thank it was the history channel. They treat them like art work...Awesome how they made them..... Thanks for sharing....
I seriously doubt they`ve put a lot of work into this, as the retail price in US dollars is about $500... Cheap copy, but sounds good enough for me. But the appearance is nothing to stand back for, it looks just as good as one 5 times more expensive As for you, Pirex: do you REALLY want to know why I haven`t played for you? How hetero is that, really?:lol2:
I`ve considered "detailing" my acoustic too, but I`m not sure what kind of clearcoat it has...? But that was even cheaper, so I don`t think I could do much damage:support:
Marwin Sounds like you need the PosiTector 200, seriously you can take readings on guitars, I've done it to my guitars. I got a few nylon string classical guitars. I play some my self :yippie: :yippie:
Looks great guys! I like this thread. We are all OCD! :rollinglaugh: I use ARO around the house all the time!
Nica: I`m not too experienced in the names of manufacturers... Is that for digital readings of the CC? If it is, I`m going to get one, but I don`t need the most expensive one... Any suggestions? EDIT: found it, looks nice (but expensive...)! Pirex: good, we think alike (but you, of all people, should know better than to double-post...) hehe...:tlaw: As for all you other guys: buy a guitar, and bring a lot more fun into your life! If you don`t know how to play, you`ll at least have something to detail when the weather decides not to cooperate
