Aight so part of my quest of trying out the many products I have, I put a coat of SV Shield ontop of my 1z glanz just to try it out yesterday. I wanted to let it settle n stuff overnight before I really take a closer look at it and boy it looks awesome.
The ease of application i would say is not up there if we compare it with sealants as its out of a pot. But applying it was quite tedious compared to other waxes cuz it doesnt glide that well on the surface I noticed. The buffing off part was however a lot easier.
Somehow my paint feels deeper dark than before or its illusionary.
Anyone know what im talking about and am i seeing the right things with the Shield?
I have also used it on my windows except front windshield and today's light drizzle = practically no water on the windows.

Yup Glanz plus Shield is a great combo. But I gotta say even multiple coats of just Glanz looks incredible. Its top notch!

I have 2 coats of glanz and it already by itself looked awesome but shield really gave the deepness.

I have concorso as well which I will slap when we get less rain =p

I think in the dark with no sun does the SV Shield more justice in the deepening lol but the ptfe effect is actually working real well

I really want to try Shield, but I want to see how the "not-stick" properties work after a few weeks and a few washes. I think after I get insignus v2 and shield, I will be DONE with buying new LSP's.

    Yeah right....

So this is some 20 day update of the SV Shield and Autobahn!

Hasnt gone through any washing, or scrubbing or anything (just some foaming and pressure washer). 1 coat autobahn, actually not that bad considering how beaten up the weather has been and along with the amount of braking I've been doing!

So heres the SV Shield, PTFEs like any other sealant but I still love its deeper darkness. I have had less big dirt build up at the rear bumper though compared to say Autoglym HD Wax, and again it has only gone thru foaming and pressure wash and nothing (thus no real maintenance wash on it but a beating with water which got nothing off lol)

It doesnt however work that well on windows at the end, it seems to be rather too thick to not leave marks after i open the windows for drive thru after the seals are wet.

But yeah all this has been pounded by salt/snow/rain/etc and its still beading and water still sliding.

Awesome beading/sheeting shots with the Shield. Great winter wax.
