So as an update of hte CG Towels shipping to canada I had to pay 50 bucks in shipping which was already more than the cost of the products and now fedex wants to ding me for 16.39 for HST + advancement fee what to do
its not a lot but yea its damn ridiculous, I should probably call Fedex and tell them to ask CG for money
yea i can buy the CG towels locally but I was trying out the then "new" CG canada shipping which listed as 19.99 THEN called me and told me i need to pay 30 bucks more AND told me it was already the cheapest option
I hate pay for shipping!!! I much rather buy X amount of products with free shipping than buy fewer items and pay shipping.
When purchasing out of the US, if you don't get it shipped USPS, you WILL be in for an ass raping. Promise.
yea no kidding. the funny thing is that i explicitly asked them if they were shipping with USPS and they said yes it was cheapest option, then viola FEDEX EXPRESS I cant see myself doing business with them directly anymore.
they only charged me HST + their 10 dollar advancement fee 5.19 HST 10 advancement fee 1.20 hst on advancement fee = 16.39 thank fully no 20% duties but man, I'll be calling fedex and dispute
18 or so towels, i ordered 12 pack + 3 pack + 3 pack thinking they were all dif but they're all the same and paid more per towel than i needed to, it would of been just as much ordering 2 * 12pack or so Troy got me obsessed to them CG Monster Towels
That sucks, I would call CG up about this given anything but USPS will rape us canadians up the butt. I was thinking of ordering since someone I knew was visiting from the states but there wasn't enough time (in case they make a mistake in the order or such as they seem prone to having problems). I've shipped a few things to point roberts and find that easier to be honest. If you got any questions about the process I'd be glad to answer.
For towels and polish/wax, I suggest you guys to get it from Ken or chris-eshine. or for vancouver, ship the products to Point Roberts to pick up, just pay hst.
