    Hey guys,
I am sorry I am coming in a little late on this, but for me, the slickness in the paint intensifies when I clay. I will never expect a slick finish with any wax or QD if I didnt clay 1st.
Clay is the way.. Then any good LSP (Glasur, Concorso, Zuffenhausen even Collinite 845 are the ones I use) will be slicker than snot in a hot Georgia swamp.

Indeed it is nice! I love it, and you cut it down 2:1 and still maintain an amazing QD. It will stay in my detailing arsenal for a long time, so much that I don't feel the need to try more QDs :D

Flashwax sent me sample of this when I order Brown royal. its smells great!!!.. but too bad I used it on a light color car and I couldn't tell back then whether it helped kept my car clean for longer.

Of all my lsp's I think the slickest combo I've ever used is 4* UPP toped with OCW 24hrs later. This stuff is slicker than snot is much better (slickness wise) than Menz PL, FK 1000P and 845.

I've never found and qd'ers that were able to add any noticeable slickness to the paint besides Megs UQD which is like a short lived sealant.

CG Pro Detailer is alot better it gives your vehicle slickness and a warm look where as the Extreme Slick Synthetic leave a plasticy look to a black finish. I had a gallon of Extreme Slick Synthetic and I replaced it with a gallon of Pro Detailer and will never go back lets just say that:)

Black is PIA, some QD like you mention leave my finish cloudy, plastic looking....I notice that with OID and last touch

I agree, 4 Star is super slick and IMO more than PL.

I am really loving Prima Slick QD a lot. I actually use Prima Hydro as a QD. Hydro is so versitile and looks are unbelievable.

Black and Red... the perfectionist's nemesis. I feel your pain.

Distilled water is the perfectionist's best friend, imo.

I know this is a QD thread but I have some lsp recommendations based on my hatred for smearing...
Streak / Smear etc. proof -

    DG# 111
    CG Factory Seal
    AG EGP

and a glaze that is mentioned often recently... Detail Shoppe Wet Glaze 2.0. I've applied it over streaky lsp's to "straighten them out".

FK425 is smearing on me...is it because Im using hard water to wash my car inside??

What LSP are you wearing? LIke detaildoc said, FK425 can be finicky with certain LSP's. My experience is that it smeared on my hood regardless thus why I stopped using it. The slickness of it and antistatic properties is really making me want to use it again though...

I use FK425 for slickness. I found it streaks if the panels are too warm. I really only notice the streaking on black though.
