Well sometime during the course of the 8 month hiatus my car had a cat got inside of it. Long story there. Fortunately for me the only thing the cat left behind was hair, and a lot of it. I wrestled fruitlessly with a couple different vacuums and they did little to remove the hair that was stuck in the carpet. So one day I was home and the Scotch commercial came on for their new Fur Fighter and I figured why not give that a shot. I'm glad I did. There are two different sizes. One for the house and one for the car. The one for the car actually fits pretty well in my hand. I didn't notice any fatigue or tingling in my fingers from trying to hold onto the fur fighter. Now that I've used the Fur Fighter on the carpets vacuuming the rest of the hair out of the car was a breeze. Pros of this product: What pet hair it doesn't pick up is loosened enough for you to vacuum it up. Price isn't too bad. I think I spent less than $10 on it and it comes with a couple of refills. Cons of this product: The sticky pad can get kinked while you're using it. Nothing a little readjustment didn't fix. Needing to use a product like this in the first place. Pet hair can be considered the debbil.
