Few short thoughts on some recent pick ups. S100 wax: For $15 it's a pretty good wax. Has more clarity than Collinite 476. You can pick it up at the Harley dealership S100 TCC: A must buy. I have never used P21s TAW but it is suppose to be pretty much the same product. It does a very good job cleaning, i have used it on engine, wells, and wheels and hasn't let me down. It foams and clings to the surface sprayed out. A must have for me. Price is about $45 and can pick it up at harley. DODO Born to Be Mild: This soap has a light grape smell to it and foams up pretty well. It did a nice job cleaning. Downside is it's price could add up as your goto wash. DODO lime prime lite: this a winner in my book. It it easier to apply, remove, leaves a sliker finish and is less oily than Swissvax cleaner fluid. It also takes 1/3rd the amount per car. A little goes a long way. I also used it on my class and it left my glass very slick and made a good reflection. even better than Zaino glass polish. Bilt Hamber Clay-Soft : It did a nice job cleaning my paint. You only need water for lube and you get alot of it. Worth the price to me. Even with the exchange rate it costs about the same as any clay around here. Black WOW: Nothing would take old polish residue of my plastic. From Mother BTB to Prep-All to Wax Blaster. Black wow made it go away like nothing. leaves a nice finish. A little pricey and sort slippery if you put it on your running boards. oops. Rubbish Boys OE : will throw up some picture tomorrow. Definitly the best wax i have yet to use. Yet to see it in the sun though. It left my paint very black and amazing depth. DoDo Juiced: It has a nice banana smell has a interesting texture. It has more Clarity Imo than OE but lacks the depth OE has. All in All i prefer OE. Paint prepared: Powergloss via LCC PFW 3m Swirl remover via CCS Orange SIP via CCS Green PO85 via CCS Blue Prep-All wipedown Lime Prime Lite DoDo Juiced
I tried the Born to be Mild today and I must say it is a very good maintanence shampoo. I don't think it has the nuts to get the really dirty, greasy stuff off but for regular washes it was very good. The lubricity of the soap was very good and it created a lot of suds. The smell was a pleasure to work with as well. I will keep some in my personal stash. Thanks LitttlemissGTO.
Nice reviews. I just picked up OE, LPL, and BTBM shampoo. Glad to hear you liked them all. It makes me very happy about my purchase. How is the beading on the OE sections?
I also noticed the slickless of Black Wow. I think the label reads that you should apply it before washing the car, which I did not do.
