You're also the new guy, not following the guidelines of this forum. So be careful of the way you talk to respected and knowledgeable members here who have contributed to this forum for years and have 1200+ posts...

You say it's a scam but maybe your copy product is also. You have posted several times now promoting your product but I don't see pictures or a video of your product.

I can say I've done a lot of things or come up with great solutions to problems but without real proof of the product or real durability testing it's hard to believe. How many times to competing products come out and one will try to discredit the other? Sometimes neither product really works as described.

Ok. I get it. YOu gotta pay your "Dues" before you can get any respect on this forum. Old Boys club and all, I get that too. If you read my posts you will see that I said "I will be posting an application video in the new year". I already have one it's just too big to send to you skeptics. And truth be told, seeing is believing. Check out the website and the Before and After's will give you an idea. You cannot just buy the product either: you must be trained for it to work properly. Rest assured, you will be seeing Rocket Restorkoat soon anyway, as somoene in your area will be profiting enormously from it. Rocket Restorkoat has been tested in Alberta's harsh climate, salt water, and places with Huge average sunlight and heat such as Mexico. It has paid it's "Dues" and is ready for the world.

And furthermore, I can discredit the competition Restorfx because I WAS A LICENSEE. I can tell you I PAID MY DUES to find that out.

This is surely not the first invention to be skepticized and found out to be a great find.

I was talking about you coming off rude to our members. Who do you think you are? You think you can gain respect like that? Act like the professional you claim to be and respect the people here. I for one, will not buy anything from someone who walks onto the scene and acts like he owns the place. We have to know you are the real deal, we have to see your work, and we have to see this product in action. Can't do that? Don't expect us to trust or respect anything you say.

Its not about paying your dues, we have rules on this forum. If you want to discuss your product, you need to contact Phil and "pay your dues". All the manufacturers here pay for the priveledge of promoting their products. Plain and simple. As well, maybe your product would be better suited to a bodywork type forum. This is a detailing forum where we specialize in fixing problems, not just covering them up. Either way, please talk to Phil and take care of paying for your membership before discussing your product any more.

This product is a PERMANENT FIX. It is not a bandaid fix like a polish or wax. And besides I answered a thread about RestorFx. Since you are in Maple Ridge you will see it at detail shop near you. I guarantee it. Besides, which detail shop do you represent?

I know it works. I have tested it rigorously. If you do not have any interest in the product then leave it at that. I didn't disrespect. And besides, I am in my corporate beginning. As funds come available I will be taking it on the road to demonstrate for as you well know that even things on the internet are not always what they seem. What is disrespectful is "overtime detailer" response though.

You best stop advertising your product until you've paid for the privilege to do so. You still aren't acting like a professional, which leads me to believe you and this 'miracle' product are a joke. I'm not denying that such a product could exist, I know it can be done. But the way you present yourself amidst some of the best and most knowledgeable high-end professionals won't get you anywhere. You're in it for the money.

I have 25 years of detailing experience. I have created my own bio-degradable cleaning product. I am co-engineer of the product I previously referred to. I own 4 shops. I have the credentials to be a high-end professional. Bmer89, what detail shop do you own? What credentials do you have? You wanna throw out insults? It ain't bragging if you can back it up. I can.

    IamRocket,

It is enough that Phil (the owner of this forum) has just undergone Hurricane Sandy and is slowly recouping with his family, business, and this forum. Members' are simply asking you to abide by the existing forum rules. Those rules include you becoming a "DB Certified Manufacturer" should you meet the conditions. What is currently transpiring is a forum unrest that is unwarranted and not what the forum needs at this time. Can you please refrain from engaging in any confrontational demeanor? Thanks.

IamRocket in no way I was trying to insult you. I never care what companies claim their product can do, I like everyone else would like to test it out before performing such services to our clients. But I will refuse to talk about your product unless your a sponsor here.

    Hello everyone,

I'm new on this forum and I thought I'd start my first post with some insight on a product offered in Edmonton.
I purchased a vehicle about a month ago...this particular vehicle had a hand applied clear coat (which I did not about until my mirror started pealing)

Turns out after talking to a few body shops in Red Deer, this same product destroyed multiple vehicles here and the guy lost a lot of business so he decided to move to Edmonton.

This "amazing product" is a polyurethane clear coat applied to hand to the whole vehicle by sponge. It is design to conceal all visible scratches and make the car look like new by bonding to the cars original clear coat...the issue with this product is because the Mickey Mouse clear coat was mixed in this guy's basement and will soften the original clear.

Dealerships in Edmonton are starting to use this to make the car look brand new (costs them around $300-400) but be warned that this product is very harmful to your vehicle. You can call any bodyshop in Red Deer and ask about it...

This "magic product" I am talking about is Rocket Restorkoat - sometimes called Frankenshine.

I will try to post photos of where the original clear is starting to react with this product...

The dealership refuses to do anything about this and the only way to remove it is to wet sand the whole vehicle but hope you don't burn through.

Everyone should boycott this product and not buy any vehicle that has had this applied.

Admins please feel free to sticky this thread as there wasn't anything that I could find recently about this product online.
    - Sorry for reviving an old thread...but this product has resurfaced...

I have seen a lot of "badmouthing" about Rocket Restorkoat on this site. Seems it's by people who have not actually experienced the product. I have had several vehicles done by Rocket Restorkoat in Edmonton. The first was my 2003 Yukon Denali work vehicle. After years of carwashes, the paint was faded, scratched and swirl marks. After the application a year and a half ago, the vehicle DOES look like new and people even remark about it saying it looks like new. I work in an oilfield related industry and I wash my vehicle 1-2 times a week and it STILL looks like new. Also I have had my black Avanti LTS collector car done by these folks and it looks like it just came from the factory. The same thin with my 1967 Cadillac red convertible with an ancient paint job that now shows with the best of them.
I understand that detaillers might be nervous about this product, but shouldn't be as this can be waxed or polished just like any other clearcoated vehicle.
I have recommended many of my friends and acquaintences to Rocket Restorkoat in Edmonton and am recommending to my brother in Nova Scotia that he acquire a dealership even though RestorFx would be his competition there.
I have to say that I am pleased and thoroughly impressed with Rocket Restorkoat.

    That's nice.

Call any dealer in Red Deer that have used this guy...every single vehicle he did he screwed up including mine.

When I asked him how he applied it he was very defensive almost telling me its none of my business (my car so I need to know how the junk is applied)

Any detailer will tell you that you can not apply a clearcoat with a sponge to any vehicle. Corey needs to learn how to properly detail vehicles instead of taking shortcuts and using this "coverup" fix that after a few months washes away.

One thing I forgot to add...you can not polish this stuff off...it makes the surface rubbery feeling. This clown "fixed" my mirrors by polishing it off and it still looks like garbage.

Corey "Rocket" should learn how to properly fix paint on vehicles instead of putting this garbage on temporary covering paint defects.

Here is a video of this stuff being pressure washed off my trunk. (was told the only place it does not hold sometimes is the mirrors because the mirrors on cars are not painted and there is no clearcoat on the mirror)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEHnT2Nnie4

These are my mirrors that "Are not painted or clearcoated, they are impregnated plastic"

    http://s113.photobucket.com/user/richardmoca/slideshow/Beyond/Rocket%20RestorKoat

Also by the way this Rocket clown is "advertising his product (against forum rules, disrespecting members on this forum, and acting very unprofessional I highly doubt everything he said about his product being awesome and amazing.

May I also add Mr. 1 post this Corey fellow (Rocket) has been in Red Deer and only recently moved to Edmonton (within the past few months). February 22 2017 was the expiration of their license (I think its 1 only valid for one year) so "many years" you are talking about...not so much, Nice try thought you get an E for effort.
