The JS109 is pretty durable especially if it's applied X2. For ultimate durability, try DG 105 topped with AW. If you want a carnuba, collinite can't be beat for durability.

I think that Jetseal 109 is durable, but not near where Zaino is. I tested it on own vehicles. It's much cheaper, goes on and off much easier than Zaino, but the durability is not at Zaino levels.

Are you sure about this? Is this new news?

I've seen this tossed around a lot on this board and it always caught my attention.

I used Zaino for years and it was always:

Z5 for cars with "swirl marks and fine scratches" (I guess it has some fillers)
    &
Z2 for cars without any swirls

I never heard the light color / dark color thing until I started reading here.

I can verify the light (Z2P) and dark color thing as I use the Z5p for dark colors also.

The Z5p also fills swirls better.

Thanks for the replies guys... im leaving JETSEAL to cure for 24hours because my body is so sore from a 12 hour detail and not even done yet.. i dont know why its taking me so long..i think its the porter cable that is taking long to cut the paint but i have to say im satisfied with my work although there are still alot of scratches and swirls that needed to be corrected but i didnt want to cut anymore clear and i need a new set of foam pad (5.5") and alot of them.. i cant stand cleaning them in the middle of the detail.. also taking pictures also took alot of time. and prepping...

btw to get back on topic, can someone confirm that i can use blitz wax and top it off with P21S... thanks again

    I agree!

    Z5pro give a deeper/wetter look and Z2pro give a brighter look.

To throw more coal in the fire.....

On blacks, I have been mixing zaino like this in the bottle:

    80% Z5pro
    20% Z2pro
    2 sprays of Z8
    4-5 drops of ZFX.

    Shake and "bake" :crasy:

To be honest I've never mixed wax's together but is blitz a carnauba wax? If so I can't see why it wouldn't work with P21S...but that's just me guessing  I've never used blitz nor P21S

I just finished applying blitz wax and letting it cure for a couple of hours and might apply second coat of p21s. Is this a logical thing to do? Tnx

I would suspect the solvents in the P21 would effect the Blitz and you could get unexpected results. You could always give it a try but when you go outside of the system there are never any guarantee's.

For maximum durability I prefer Zaino and usually top it with either CS/Z8 or Z8 for that little extra pop. I also apply up to 3 coats for maximum durability.

If using a Carnuaba I will go 2 coats max to ensure full coverage but do not really expect to layer it as layering is really not one of Carnuaba's strong points, nor is durability. I usually stay within the brand also for the PC, and QD to get maximum results. That said, I do like using Z8 over a Carnuaba as I find it enhances a Carnuaba finish just as much as it enhances Zaino's sealants.

I personaly enjoy applying multiple layers of carnauba on my vehicles...I'm not sure how P21S performs layerd as I've never used it but I've been stunned at some carnauba's layerd. I mean take Victoria Wax for example (the red one) if you put two coats of that wax on your vehicle, letting the first coat cure of course. Victoria Wax is a very good wax and the price is great. Then Vintage, put a couple of coats on your vheicle and man it just keeps looking better and better..mind you Vintage you have to wait a day or two to let it settle and then it will show you what it truly can do to the vehicle..and well the list goes on and on.

I never really cared for layering coats of carnauba on my vehicles but now I try to put a new coat once a week...try is the key word though as I'm starting to run out of time to even pamper my own vehicles :shakehead: :shakehead:

Well again that's just my :2cents: :peace:
