How many of you guys are Professional Detailers and how many of you are novices? I'm just a novice detailer. Detailing occasionally for friends and family but would like to do it more of a part-time basis. I just dont think I could do it professionally around my area. So anyway off all the 260+ members of DB, what do you consider yourself?? Me- Novice detailer Professional detailing product junkie Nuba- My Anti-drug Happy Detailing! Heath:stirpot:
:agree: Although I'm seriously considering holding a detail day for my local car club members. Oh and I've got a friend that has 12 cars. That's enough to keep me very busy for a while.
Weekend Warrior for me...... Here to learn from the pros and try to better myself. I could see myself doing some on the side if my days off from work line up.
Novice here as well, but the referral business keeps growing. Since I just finished my dad's Jag XKR, he said he's going talk to his neighbor into getting his car done now. Business just keep falling into my lap. However, I have no thoughts of going full-time...unless I were to get canned at my current job.
I'm a Professional Novice...........:woot: I want to be like Master Toto.......Big Al (Al-53) has me in training.....Big Al calls me grasshopper.....
I guess I fall into the "part-time enthusiast" catagory. I have a business where I get paid to detail on evenings and weekends. However, I learn something new on every vehicle that I do; so I hesitate to use the term professional when describing myself. Dave
I am a novice detailer currently, but I have high hopes this spring to form a part time business out of it. Going to buy a trailer and set it up like some of the other guys on here and see where it goes from there.
I have a regular full time gig.. with a couple side gigs (Dj'ing and Detailing) I DJ on the side & detailing has been an obssesion that after numerous people asking me to do thier vehicles turned into a way to get my pads on more paint and make some cash in the process...
Novice. Though I happen to make some money off of it aside from its theraputic benefits. Full time grad student Subcontractor PT Trying to make the world convert to 36 hour days
