I recently finished up this Detail in preperation for the upcoming show season. This is a beautiful example of an Orignal 951. The car was in pretty good shape when i got it, the owner had cared for it, although the best way, it was cared for & garaged its entire life, you can certainly tell.

This is a Single Stage paint, with very few imperfections, i will do a correction on those few areas this fall or early spring. Let me know what you guys think!!

    Process:

    Foam Pre-Soak
2 Bucket wash w/ Megs Gold Class & ONR

    Menzerna Final Polish II
    CG Butter Wet Wax

Rubber Spoiler, Overriders, & Plastic Trim w/ Back 2 Black

Full Polished Stainless Steel Exhaust completely polished with NevrDull

Dash & Interior Protected w/ Megs Natural Shine Protectant

Leather Seats Treated and Cleaned w/ Leatherique Kit

Wheel Wells & Tires Dressed with Megs HyperDressing

    Now for the Pics:

Thats not orange peel, its the quailty of the picture / camera. I dont have an SLR Camera, but there is no orange peel on the car at all.

See how in your reflection there are no crisp, sharp lines? That's proof of orange peel, and it certainly seems like there is a lot of it on this Porsche. I think your camera is fine, as the other pictures (where you took photos of the entire vehicle) don't look "blurry".

Had the paint been orange peel free, we would see a lot more detail in your reflection shot.

Also, no before or during shots?

I guess a picture really does say it all, To be perfectly honest, the orange peel is not very present in person, i dont know if i wasn't looking hard enough or what, but i understand what your saying i now i believe, i just dont understand how i never noticed it before.

Like i mentioned the before shots, were pretty much useless due to the fact it was it already nice shape, i guess i shouldnt say useless, but there wouldnt have been much for comparison. I usually include before and afters to highlight some areas but it would have been tough.

don't mean to go at you harsh or anything, Im glad you have a better understanding of orange peel now, and from the reflection shot, I also see you have wax build up on the door handle??? or I might just seeing things.
