Is it reccomended to use Pinnacle Sig Series II or another wax, to polish the front window on my car? I want the water to peel of my window...
It can be tricky using a wax on glass...the solvents in the washer fluid can break it down in time and you can get wiper chatter and streaking you are better off using a sealant on glass ... I use a sealant on the glass and then after a wash I spray AW on them water just flies off.... So far the best I have used is DG Aquawax on glass..you will not need wipers over 40MPH...lol...water just flies off.... another good one is Klasse AIO....works great.... also clean your wiper blades monthly with a rubber cleaner and then treat them with a good product like CG VRT...Megs 39...DG 271... keeping wiper blades clean makes a big difference when you need to use them... Hmmm.... I usually always follow my window cleaning with a detail spray. Works quite well. I'm interested in the sealant aspect... Would FMJ work in this aspect I wonder?
The DG guru speaks the truth once again!!1 I use 105 on my windshields and top with 105 after washes.. It sooo fun to watch the water zoom off your glass!! When I do this woth Passengers in my car it gives them yet another thing to "rib" me about!!! ***Caution**** This activity can induce subconcious increases in MPH as the faster you go the faster the water flies off and the "cooler" it looks!!!
