That SV stuff ain't cheap! I *really* appreciate the offer, but I'm thinking I'll work my way through this batch of glazes I have, then buy a batch of stuff I haven't tried yet to keep testing. I have enough glazes now to do mine and my customer cars til the end of the year.

Thanks for the review, Bee. I have a bottle of GEPC that I'm still waiting to use. I think I'll be doing my first Ferrari next week, and I may go with GEPC under P21S 100%.

 

I have been using Werkstat products for most of my details lately and they are fantastic. If you work them until they dry, they wipe right off. Any little bits left over are easily taken off when you apply your LSP. Awesome product.

 

Keep in mind that P21S doesn't last very long but if done regularly, is very rewarding. It is by far the easiest wax to put on and take off. I like to do one coat and follow up with a second coat a week later and then every 4 weeks to maintain it. This schedule keeps a black Benz I do regularly looking incredible.:thumb:

 

I've been meaning to ask you how far away from Louisville you are. I'm in downtown Louisville tonight at The Brown hotel. Really old, five star hotel. Neat place.

Anyway, back on topic... I bet you'll love the GEPC under the P21S. That Ferrari owner will be pleased, I'm sure. And you are planning on posting pics, right??

 

Are you serious?? I'm an hour, maybe less, from Louisville. The Brown is pretty cool. I hope you had a Hot Brown for dinner. I haven't checked the board in a few days, so I totally missed this. I would've driven up for a beer or two. Let me know if you're in my neck of the woods again.

Yeah, I'm going to post the pics. He's not really even wanting me to polish it, and it looks like someone washed it with gravels. I'm only supposed to a wash and wax, but I'm so tempted to do some level of polishing on it, and still only charge him for the wash and wax.

 

You should have PM'ed me, I live 15 minutes from the Brown Hotel. I would have shown you around Louisville.

Dang it, I really missed out.. I coulda bought both you guys a round or two at The Brown. I'm not scheduled for any more Louisville overnights right now, but schedules change. I'll be sure and look you guys up next time.

I know I am bringing an old thread back to life, but can you top the cleansing lotion with a sealant or just wax?

Should be able to top with a sealant, as it's supposed to be a paint cleanser.

 

If you topped GEPC with, say, Collinite 845, would it reduce the durability of the Collinite?

 

Can you apply P21S paint cleanser by machine ?
