Nice work I am going to a ONR wash tomorrow on my Black Mustang GT I had great results using it on my girlfriend Scion TC. I am also going to try out my Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer as a drying aid. I pretreated the panel last time with ONR and then worked my way around the ride using the TBM with grit guards and a third bucket for wheels.

I am still wondering if I should use my sheep skin mitt or my grout sponge. I had good results with the grout sponge last time, but it got pretty dirty towards the end and that worried me. I am going to dump out the rinse water half ways through just to be safe. So I am wondering which route to go any idea on which wash media is safest using ONR .

Great work, your GTI looks great. ONR is a must have product for anybody who washes their own vehicles.

I used a brush, the one I normally use on wheel wells. I only used it because I couldn't find my old wash mitt that I use to do wheel wells though. A brush can't pick up the dirt, it can agitate it but your really have to rinse it off to get it properly clean. But a wash mitt will be able to pick up the dirt...so use one of those. Or a sponge or something. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

I used my sheepskin mitt, and then put some regular car wash soap in my rinse bucket. It helped the dirt release better and I always had a clean mitt to work with after I rinsed it off.

I think I will be trying it out with the sheepskin mitt for the top surfaces, the grout sponge for the lower areas and remove my sheepskin mitt from the bucket once I start the lower sections. I am going to change the rinse water once I reach the half way point. Thanks man.

I had to go back and look at those as well. I'm wondering what the other two say.

Really nice car!! I have the 2008 black editon. What do you guys use to dry the car After an ONR wash? I mean, when I do an ONR wash on my car, and the weathers really crappy(from+5 to -15, And full of road salt) I presoak it with a QD strength solution, then I hit it with the regular routine(tbm, gritguard). I´ve tried WW´s from CG but im so afraid of marring the paint with it, so I often end up using the ultra plush no name uber

With my car the ONR got all the dirt and salt off, so I just used the Vroom drying towels from Target and I haven't noticed any marring.
