So another forum member let me borrow some Zanio for a detail I have coming up where the guy wants a sealant look. Now, the thing is, it is about 4-5(?) years old, it hasn't even been touched. I'm just looking at Z-2 and Z-5. I shook them both a little, they are pretty much straight water. Are they supposed to be thicker, will they still even been useable after that long?
I've never used Zanio, but it sounds like Seperation to me. I wouldn't use it, if you do shake well before every dispense
Yea that's what I thought. However, Collinite 845 is very watery too, so I was wondering if Zanio was too.
I would be kind of apprehensive about using a 4+ year old product that has been sitting around. If you have something you can test it on that would let you know if it is still good. Could try it on glass and see if it applies and dries properly. Only issue would be after sitting that long some crazy things can happen to a mixture like a sealant. Has it been sitting garage or inside were the temperature was somewhat stable. I know I had WG DGPS sitting in the garage and after a year it was a liquid, more so that it should be, and would not apply properly and was trashed.

Bobby ... I'm sorry that the Zaino was too old. I might place another order soon and you can have a sample. I know you need this ASAP ... the guy might end up liking the opti-seal look.
Yea it's no problem dude, I just feel bad that you spent money on something you never used. I'll post your write-up tomorrow, I just have during and a bunch of after, should have taken befores :doh: And I think the Opti-seal look will be good too, most of the look comes from polishing anyway.
