Ok guys I was able to talk steve into doing a special price point for DB members. I won't link the website, but if you got to it you will find special pricing and you can use 10offtc for more discount!!

in the comment box just put your DB name so he can kinda see how much you guys love this stuff!

At that price it's competitive with Opti-Bond. I'll probably be in for a gallon.

Any luck cutting it 1:1 with water and spraying it on?

    Okay 2 questions...
    1) how long is this price good for?
    2) when is the new formula going to be released?

I hate being that guy that saved a few bucks but missed out on the new stuff.

How's this compare to Meg's Hyper dressing say at a 4:1 ratio?

I have never used HD but I can say that both old and new versions look great. The new version had a hint more gloss and gives you a deep, dark, black look with a touch of shine. Not only do they look great but amazing durability for a water based dressing, 2-3 weeks maybe more depending on conditions and how clean the rubber was before application.

    I've only ever used HD at 1:1. So I can't say 4:1.

I can honestly say I've used all the big name water based dressings and this really is top 2 along side Pneu. Price wise this the better buy.

But don't take just my word, ask everyone else who's used it.

I'm sure it's good, that's not whats in question by any means. I was just tring to see if there was a noticeable difference in the two. I've got a gal of HD and it goes along way, so before I purchase this I was just curios.
    Thanks D2G.

I think the durability is better than HD, the more you break something down, the less durable it will become.

I've used HD 4:1 side by side with Tropi-Care (original) on the same truck (mine) on brand new, never-been-dressed tires (BFG Commercial T/As). Tropi-Care maintained its intended look a lot longer than HD did. Not only that, Tropi-Care "ages" better than HD. It seems to lose its look gradually; HD went away much more sharply after the first rainstorm.

Thanks krshultz. How about looks wise, they about the same?

They're similar. As you probably know, the look of HD depends on how you mix it up. At 4:1, it's not very shiny. I'd say that Tropi-Care makes the tires look darker, more "rich" if you will, than HD does. Does that make sense?

i would say the same thing. HD gives more of a surface shine, like zaino, but the TC dressing is like a good nuba wax, gives that deep rich look
