As promised, here are some more shop pictures. Since the last pics, the electricians have been in, the drywallers were in to board and tape the place and I've gotten most of the painting done. My friend came by today to install all the door casing and baseboard. I'm hoping to get the lights installed and finish painting this weekend. More pics to come. And yes Richy, the bar fridge will be here!
Congrats; your shop looks fantastic, very professional . Do you plan to wash vehicles inside? If I remember correctly you indicated the place isn't equipped with a drainage system. I'm sure you've already got everything figured out; however, I did some searching and found the following item: Inflatable Wash Pads - Liquid Tight Floor I figure you could simply run a pump plumbed to a hose or pipe which runs to the exterior to drain the inflatable as you wash. Just a thought.
Thanks for the tip. I'd been talking to Rich at polished Bliss about his as well. Moreclean says they will manufacture to any size. I may have to look into this farther. I was trying to figure out how to "waterproof" the inside of the shop.
Wow 911, I'm sure it's not comming along fast enough for your liking but it looks great...Thanks for the update...:thumb:
Wow this is a great setup, im very happy for you...do you have some space heaters or something for winter?
Yes. If you look at the top right hand corner of the second pic, you'll see a gas fired furnace hanging from the ceiling. I'm hoping to buy this unit this year and then I'll replace it with a ceiling mounted radiant heat system. Way more efficient.
Well done 911, place is looking great :applause: Boy it sure is coming along great, I like the colour you chose, nice down to earth/nuetral colour. I like it :thumb: You should keep the forklift, it could come in handy :flirt:
Hey Ken, The new place looks incredible. I can't wait to see the finished pics. I am sure business will be booming.
Very nicely done! You'll soon have a completed shop you can be extremely proud of. :headbang: Can't wait to see pictures of the finished "break room".
Nice job Ken you have a shop we can all be envious of. So do you think the first car detailed in there will be one of yours or a clients? I think I would have to do mine as I wouldn't be able to wait to schedule a client!
