here's a couple of pictures of the paint drying under the infra-red drying system, tomorrow it will be sanded and machined and then onto adding a few more layers of Crystal rock wax with the interior detailed, then it will be finished.

Nice to see you expanding. I can only imagine how those "detailers" who envy you now must feel seeing your new shop and cars. Good for you.

 

Paul, I have a question for you. How do you keep contamination in your paint work from silicone from your detailing supplies? Tire dressings are some of the worst products for silicone. With under-carriage sprays close behind. Some day when you have spare time, I would like to know what products you use.

Wow. Very impressive. That rock chip repair is just phenomenal, that is the definition is if your going to do something right. Do it right the first time.

 

Shouldn't the paint be allowed to gas out? Or is that just jive?

 

No, it will be fine, its been in the oven and under a infra-red drying system.

 

Oh I see. Car looks great Paul. What process did you use on the exhaust tips if you don't mind sharing?

 

I used a couple of different things on them, a bit of peek and some brilliant chrome polish.
