Not sure if this has been discussed previously; however, 3M came out with another Perfect-It system. I was informed by 3M's regional aftermarket automotive representative the formula for their Rubbing Compound in the previous Perfect-It 3000 line has been modified for a faster cut and better finishing. Additionally, this compound is supposed to be effective on high solid finishes (i.e., ceramiclear) as well as conventional ones. He specified the Swirl Mark Remover and Ultrafina formulas were not touched; however, they have been relabeled. I'm wondering if the new Rubbing Compound formula has been modified to parallel characteristics of Fast Cut Plus from 3M's European line.
