Great post Ketil and love the car! I look forward to hearing more about your visit with Scholl Concepts.
Ketil, now that she's home, time for thread number two with some very detailed pics of the car! In regards to the stand for the roof, it looks like it might be wobbly but that thing will never fall!!! Looking forward to more pics, and lots of them.................. icture:
Very cool pictures, that museum looks incredible so much history in there...but I didn't see the military G wagon, love those things. Looks like an incredible road trip pirex :applause:
Thanks JL Send me a e-mail bro! Thank Piet, she is finally home! Hehe. It was NICE to get the roof off. Was cruising all day. Detail and pictures will come!!! Thanks Carlos, and yes, the museum was very nice FIRST POST UPDATED
Good to see her finally home, and with a nice bath! Looks great with the top down, great for cruising in beautiful Norwegian weather! Enjoy it!
any pics of the wheels that were stolen? just curious as to what they look like. Sorry to hear that happened to you Pirex.
Great pictures! Looks like you guys had a great time on your trip. I love the Mercedes museum. I had the opportunity to get a VIP tour on a business trip I took to Stuttgart a few years back when I worked for Daimler. I love the top floor with all the DTM cars!
Ketil, what you posted on this thread is literally my life long dream. To be able to experience the splendour of driving a beautifully built classic / youngtimer Merc on a road trip across europe. Wish I'll get the chance to do it some day, and maybe drop by to your workshop and see one of the gurus in action
