My begginers kit...

hi everyone. just figured i'd show my begginers kit. hoping to get anyones comments on this. no special waxes here yet.. this is what i have for now.

it worked good on my honda. so far my trials have cut short when winter arrived. so far i had only tried it in my car. but it worked great on the civic paint imo. hoping to try it on other cars when weather warms up

 

I liked it as well, but it didnt really blow me away. Solo seems to have more play time than M105, but M105 is pretty much my favorite polishing product on the market to date.

honestly i couldn't tell the difference yet.. i have limited polishes. hoping to purchase menzerna and 3M soon. i did finish the solo with the speed glaze and it was cool. the speed glaze brought more should i say gloss.. imo..

what spray pump is that?

 

it's a chemical sprayer i bought in walmart.. found in gardening section..it works good imo..

Seriously that right there is the best way to get started, don't worry about wax's for now concentrate on the correction and then get some carnauba or sealants to protect your hard work.....I consider carnauba to be my treat for all the hard work one on the paint correction :gidiup:

thanks nica. yup, i'm concentrating on the correction products . i'm hoping to get the positector 200 soon. i think this tool is the only one i'm missing.. i know i can easily purchase the compounds and waxes..

lol :headbang: .. i know what you mean.. well, i figured i don't really have that much to spend jumping from one machine to another. i have read a lot comments and advices from people basically end up saying that you'll still end up with a rotary.. so right away i bought a rotary and just tried to master it. hehe.. it's a great tool..

 

i got the blue ones from chemical guys when they had their MF applicator sale. i think it was $14 for 8 applicators and the white ones are meguiars bought at rs strauss.

Good for you jake, paint correction is where you should spend majority of your time and as much as I enjoy playing with carnauba's it's the paint correction that makes the difference. Having great tools like the paint gagues just gives you that extra conficense, I remember when I polished with out the PosiTectors and I would get so nervous wile polishing becuase I really didn't have a clue how much clear coat was available for me any who you know what I mean.

You've got great tools to get you started, now you need to get craking and start using them :gidiup: :gidiup: oh and don't forget to take lots of icture: for us to see :whistle: :whistle: I got the opcorn: ready :thumb:
