Great work!!! BTW what's the kenne brown method? substituting supercharger oil for M105?? LOL ... just kidding. I think you got kenne bell and kevin brown mixed up.
Hehehehe no, it's this guy's fault: KENNYBROWN.COM I bought some of their parts and since then, I mix the two.
Yeah, for the daylight pics the owner told me that he would keep the pictures and publish them on Mustang forums as general pictures (not only to show the detailing job)... So I set my Pentax K-x to HDR low because the intense noon sun made crappy non-HDR pictures. That's why the colors look a bit more intense. The shots under halogens are non-HDR.
great detail - you put a huge amount of effort in that prep work but all that talk of american rwhp through a live rear axle reminds me of this.... YouTube - Godzilla Battles Super Snake! - Nissan GTR Vs Shelby GT500 Super Snake Drag Race
americans just have to start thinking brains over muscule. they been putting big engines into cars and think thats the answer. well here they got their ass handed to them. i bet that if they do road corse gtr will win again AWD>RWD?
I guess that's why Porsche is known for their perfect AWD systems but their fastest cars are RWD... :shead: GT2, GT3 RS, Carrera GT, etc. You just have to put sticky tires and you're ready to go. My 400 hp Mustang is as fast as a 480 hp GTR on the quarter mile (11.6 @ 121 mph), including the first 60ft (1.65s) and 0-60 mph (mid 3s).
ummm not quite the reason a RWD GT2 is quicker than an AWD Turbo is because it is lighter, has more power, and trades ride comfort for corner speed/handling likewise a GT3 over a Carrera 4 Hard to believe 400hp will net an 11 second pass when 911 Turbos are doing that with 100hp more, but feel free to post the time slip/vid
I wasn't focusing on the external factors like weight/power, but focusing on the fact that the car manufacturer with the most racing experience chooses RWD for the highest end and fastest models. If AWD was so good, then the Carrera GT would be AWD because they have the best technology in hand. Take a look at this: YouTube - 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera vs Carrera S vs Carrera 4 vs Carrera 4S (PDK) The AWD and RWD 911s are identical. And this: GT-R vs 911 PDK vs R8 vs Vantage 4.7 - Car Videos on StreetFire The 380 hp RWD 911 launches as fast as the 480 hp AWD GTR. Nowadays, the suspension/tires/weight distribution make a much bigger difference than the propulsion technology. Modifications: non aftercooled Vortech V2 at 8 PSI making 365 whp Video: Stock block/clutch/transmission/rear end Mustang G - Car Videos on StreetFire Will post the timeslip tonight.
