Sitting in a closed baggy was an applicator that was used 2 weeks ago with MPL.

Today, I go and see it as I was using MPL and the foam is torn up! What happened? Why did it happen?

Don't know why im having a poor experience with this product. First hand application, observing weak durability in lower panels, and now this!

I really want to like this product!

Hmm, seems that the solvents in MPL do not like being left in a bag with a foam app as it will dissolve it. Note to self wash apps after use and do not place unwashed in baggie.

Regular stuff or the power scrubber?

Regular stuff. I do believe that its not breaking the foam down as I wash all my others and none have the same result.

This is exacly what had happened with my Megs NXT 2.0 Paste wax and its own pad. I believe I rinsed the foam well but I didn't use an APC or anything else then. After a couple of weeks later I found the foam more porous than it was before and it came into pieces at my hand.

I now spray some 1:10 APC (VINET from ATAS an Italian brand) onto my foam pads as soon I finish my job, push the foam into it by rubbing with my fingers, and rinse. Cleans up perfectly with no damage at all.

What applicator are you using? I have the same thing happen to mine, no matter what product. The Zaino ones are notorious for falling apart, but it's happened with other products as well.

I would check on your applicators, not so much the product itself.

I clean mine with APC after use and let it air dry. Once dry, I store it in my zip lock bag. Used it twice with no problems.
