When I designed it (the one he chose) I wanted to keep it in his original colors without brightening it too much. That's why I kept it in the tones of gray (and have it a little different from my own personal logo which is black and white), else I would've gone with white as well. As for the extra bit of shine, The reason behind the non-use of "lens-flare" (I had originally thought to use it) was to make the logo more usable and easier to print(on business cards for instance). I just wanted to keep it simple. Note: I'm not defending myself because I feel attacked or anything (in case someone thought that I was) I'm just explaining what I did and why I did it that way. I am no professional designer, but do know a thing or 4 about business and publicity. And I can work pretty well with Micro Soft Paint. LOL
Good, as I wasn't trying to attack you, I think you did a great job. :thumb: That's why I started it with "personally", as there is no right or wrong just different options. Low volume printing is pretty cheap nowadays though. Maybe a little more simple, like this? Anyways not trying to take over the design, just food for thought.
ohhh joey u made ze new logo I made the 1st one after about a few dozens emails with Nico, we had about a dozen iterations lol now im in the process of getting his business card perfect =p (and hopefully the way I turned your logo in the banner was to your liking joey)
thanks for all the input i like the way it is i like how it looks on the site its not to flashy but still gets the point across and looks classy as well i think joey did a great job and i love it! thanks and as for aldric...you are the man all the help you have done for me that past week with getting everything perfect and up to par! i think the business cards look awesome too! anyone know if im allowed to post a picture of what the cards will look like?
