I saw on the back that it says ready to use, but so many people say they dilute 1:1, so I did with dH2O. Is diluting it 1:1 good for just a mist and wipe deal? I used it straight up and it tended to streak and smear, so I figured doing the popular 1:1 dilute would prevent the smearing which probably comes from too high of concentration when used straight?

    I guess I'm confused

I've always done it 1:1 out of habit. Worked fine as a QD for bird bombs as well as clay lube. You sometimes have to use 2 MF towels with it though. One to do an initial wipe and one to follow up since it "hazes" sometimes. Thats some of the weird protection or something that is left behind. If you decide to use it as clay lube, be aware the tape sometimes has problems sticking to the paint after using LT. I usually compensate by doing a 50/50 alcohol water wipedown of the car prior to polishing to remove whatever is on there.

Have fun with it bud. The smell can never grow old haha :D

I've tried it straight and never really liked it like that. Plus I like being able to dilute it for its cost efficiency.

I agree. If you use it straight, it streaks.
