iPhone 5....I'm getting it

i have the IPHONE 5 and i think the phone is great... the car is able to read my text messages to me now with the ios6,,, but it won't allow me to reply yet. keep getting an error message,,, although it gives you about 20/30 reply options. been an iphone guy since day one. can't see myself buying another phone,,, even though i thought briefly about that galaxy note.

 

I've had my iPhone 5 since the 21st and I love it so far. Definitely a jump up from the 4. I'm glad they didn't go tablet size with the screen too!

 

I agree, I think it's the perfect size. Loving mine!

 

I played with the panoramic feature on the wifes 4s, its pretty cool........ i like to take shots of bridges, dont ask me why. LOL

 

Well I think I'm gonna get one too, I've got a 16GB iPhone 4 but it's got so many things wrong with it I can't really use it practically any more, and I need more memory for my music and stuff...and you can't get another 4 or a 4S with 32 GB anymore. So I suppose I'm getting a 5, lol. So much for saving money

 

Apple Care is definitely worth it for any of their products, so I would consider that if you grab the 5. They will fix/replace anything for free that doesn't deal with water damage.

 

I didn't do Apple Care, I'm always tempted to get it but in the 7 years I've had a cell phone I've never actually broken one, they all just wear out after about 2 years.

 

Looks like I'm getting an iPhone5. I heard BB has lost a few major US contracts this week. Seems like they are done.

 

Ken..they lost a huge government contract. We are switching to the Iphone within 60 days.

Got mine last weekend...so far I'm digging it. Definitely is faster, I was kinda doubtful at first. It's just so nice having a working phone again. Still gotta get a case, I'm getting a TARDIS-themed one, 'cos Doctor Who is great.

 

I love my iPhone 5 and think its a great device, haven't bought anything but iPhone for 4 years...

But for some reason I am getting rid of it tomorrow when my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 shows up. It's a ridiculous change and I may be an idiot for doing so but what the heck I'm tryin somethin here!

 

You will like the galaxy....... I have the S3, Ill probably pick up the note in january. The larger screen is very nice to have.

 

the 4S has the panoramic feature?...f*kc me, i didn't know that...

there's so much about the iPhone that I don't know about ever since getting it...never had one, the 4S was my first smart phone.

 

I picked up a Note 2 as well, hopefully this will be my apple cleansing. I had a 4S

 

I'm really surprised the Note 2 is picking up steam. Just curious, what is your reasoning behind getting that over another Android device?

 

Had a friend bring one back from Asia about 8 months ago. The large screen is nice but size is a deal breaker for me. I want something I can carry in my pocket comfortably. That isn't it. If I want a tablet, I'll buy one.

 

To me the iPhone is a gorgeous petite brunette and the Samsung GN2 is a blonde with huge tits. Both serve a purpose and I am switching teams for the time being, I dunno I hear blondes are fun!

LOL, yeah, when you did the IOS update it has it, and the maps app which is horrible.


The Note2 is not much bigger then the S3...... now that I have a case on mine its the same footprint.
