Ok -just a rookies observations so far. Recently i received a tub of insignis V2 from Jonny M (thanks again). I was curious to see if there was really any difference in wax's. Same car-same poor prep techniques my me,myself and I ( Keep in mind I paint-so waht you guys do is a little different although i did post this to show novices the basics-http://www.300cforums.com/forums/tech-tips-diy-how/84481-color-sand-how.html#post968018. Now the first thing I noticed is the smell, the Mirage reminds me of Mango and the Insignis smells like fresh cucumber. now this is how I smell them. Both smell great although I prefer the Mirage.Application of both was pretty much the same with the Insignis seemily going farther. Removal of both was a breeze. My Mirage is giving giving very evident beading after 4 months, but i would think that's more a function of the paint being in good shape. This car is washed at least 4 times a week with Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss. Now 2 weeks ago I got the chance to do a small section of the car and prepped it for the Insignis. I can't really saw I see a huge or any difference. Although the metallic in this bright Silver does seem to come more alive. The paint feels silky smooth after a wash.Only time will tell how it holds up. I feel it should go at least as long as the Mirage. Man is this stuff addictive. I gotta put down the PC and pick up a paint gun. Stay tuned
I had Saphir, and now its replacement Mirage and I see huge differences between the two. I find that Mirage isn't exactly the easiest wax to apply, a little does NOT go a long way. With Insignis, a little goes a VERY long way. Seems like it has a lot more oils in it. Removal is slightly easier on Insignis, but I agree, not much different really.
