I booked a day off work this week to go to the (Detroit) NAIAS. For the 1st time I was disappointed in several of the paint finishes...lots of swirls on the blacks, even the bimmers! One finish absolutely blew me away however, and that was the Lexus 600LH. It was black and it was perfect. The reflection was as close to a mirror as you could possibly get and the finish was dripping wet. I took some pics of it to show (only with the phone..not great ones). Also, the nicest interior I've ever seen in a car I think..an Audi A8L..inlaid wood that was just gorgeous as well as a suede headliner...check these out: Speaking of gorgeous..here's Rama..she was at the Maserati display..very, very yummy indeed!! The biggest surprise for me was the Fisker..I had never even heard of this..it's gorgeous, roomy, fast, environmentally friendly and just plain rocks!! Last but not least was the Suzuki 109R..oh boy what I could do with a rocket like that!!!
My boy and I just got nack from the show a couple hours ago.. I agree the finishes were sad at best... my son even noticed and he's 8!!! I have over 100 pics I am uploading and plan on posting them shortly!!
Man St. Louis really sucks compared to the Detroit show. There was 1 Jag. No motorcycles. We did have a Camaro and a G8 GT. Caddy was there with all of their "V" badged cars. Maybe I'll have to go to Chicago and take in a real show.
That Lexus is simply amazing.. Fisker huh...that looks like an awesome car. Environmentally friendly you say? wow, it doesn't look like it .
Well done Lexus :applause: :applause: man that picture of the Lexus looks incredable, if it impresed richy who ever detailed that bad boy did a great job...I wonder what LSP they used..mmm..:thinking: but the reflection looks incredable :druling: I agree that interior on the Audi looks wicked, my lexus has the same colour of the wood trims, now I'm not saying they are the same but the colours are aranoia: Those Fisker look interesting, I can't say I've heard much about them my self though. I've read the odd article here and there (I think) but know nothing about it...what were some of the specs richy? Did you get a chance to read up on it by any chance wile you were there? Just wondering thats all. Thank you for sharing with us :thumb:

The Fisker had a solar panel roof and the car was a hybrid. The front reminded me of an old BMW M1 which I always loved.
