Okay my buddy richy has been sending me some PM's saying that he can't start threads, he sent me the error he gets, here is the error richy is getting: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /forum/newthread.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request I'm no expect on the forum thing nor am I a programer, so I passed it along to Mike the programmer that takes care of all technical/upgrades on Detailing Bliss. I'm just curious if anyone else is having this problem as richy, oh but the odd thing is that richy can post on existing threads isn't that something :shakehead: Well Mike is looking in to it but I thought I'd should ask the rest of the members. So what say you guys?
I believe he is timing out. Taking to long to type / post his message. Richy try to start a new thread and just typing a few words and see what happens :shrug: If you find that you have a long message or a lot of pics to load, just start it, then edit and continue. That way you don't time out :thumb:
I'm doing good but it sounds like those error messages I was getting. Richy is close to me (geographically) maybe it's related?
Now it's getting weird. I was able to start a thread in the wash section but not off topic or jokes. I even cut and pasted the contents so I don't think it was timing out. The only thing I can think of is I had"marketing idea" in the title. Maybe the computer objected to that? The thread I wanted to start in off topic I relocated to here:http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f34/good-idea-i-think-1770.html and I renamed it...that seemed to work. I should try to duplicate it with the different name in that section to see if it works there too??
Really strange richy, but I've passed on all information on to Mike, hopefully he will have results shortly.
that took me WAY too long i suck with ps (haven't played with it in a couple months) i am glad someone enjoyed it and i didn't waste my time (not a biggie if no one thought it was funny cause it is to me lol)
