Well I am in the market for a new car someting understated but bloody quick. I have been trying to get an Audi RS4 but they are very rare here and people are looking for stupid money. So I decided to get an M5!! Sounds good It was until I went to fill up with Petrol!!! Basically it costs $200 to fill £90 stirling and only 230 miles to a tank!!! YKES!!!!!:deadhorse:

Yea it is really cool but most things are pretty expensive especially in the UK... I have a holiday home in the south of Ireland and it is amazing I will retire there it is very rugged but breath taking!

My sister lives in California and she says it is nothing compared to here the average 3 bed semi house is approx $500,000 :what: plus cars are taxed to death we think 2l engines are big over here

After 18 years in Europe, I am happy in Texas! Love the open spaces, gorgeous weather, relaxed way of life and relatively inexpensive living.

have you ever heard of a term daily beater??? Well, M5 should not be it...

first off all I'll say that if you have money to buy an M5, you obiously have money for fule, maintaince, and repairs (which isn't cheap on german cars)...All of these need to be considered before making a purchase, also consider depreaciation...

With all this in mind I'll probably never buy a Jaguar...it looks nice (I like XJ), but it's depreciation value really scares me...
a 3-5 year old XJ will cost about the same as 3-5 year old BMW 3-series (meaning BMW hold value pretty well)

Yea, The depreciation is a killer but no matter what that fuel consumption is a killer. I agree with u if u cant run it don't buy it! I would love an old Jag or something but they need money spent on them which can be a false economy.. I just thought it was the biggest gas guzzler I have been in for a while!!
Yep Fminus it was an E60 what a car... plus I love the go baby go button!!!!
