What do you guys recommend when building a website, do you think I should use I or we....basically I want sound/act/be professional in every manner of detailing...I think this is a great experience of how to run and manage a small business. To me "I" gives the feel of a personal touch and we gives it professional, large corp feeling. It might not be a big deal but I'm trying to get everything done right the first time around. As of right now, I do detailing by myself and but I can hire my neighbour (17 yr old) to prep the cars for me so technically it could become more then one person.
y'all? make sound more down home..... No seriously, "we" or use your name in the third party sense....
I say go with "we" if there is the slightest chance that another person is going to help you at some point in time. People will get the "friendly" vibe from you in person anyways, so I think it's in your best interest to "sound" professional before then, because that's what most people are looking for; professionalism.
I can't do the third sense thing, "Hamza is a dedicated individual, who will make your Genesis coupe look like a Ferrari. People will literally think you are driving a Red Ferrari after Hamza is done with it" I'll stick to we
Hamza, I'm going to get around to doing a site this winter and I will be using "I" as I do the work myself, and always will. It's my expertise they're paying for anyway.
I don't think 'we' gives the corp feeling. Definitely lets you know it's not a one man crew. Website wise I'm thinking for myself I will use 'I' and when in person with the customers, I will tell them if it will be just me or have a helper.
In the advertising sense, you'd be more marketable by using "we" or the company name in the third-party sense versus "I."
