the P(raped by statistics midterm) = 1 why does probability has to be so complicated, they dont want me to grad in may
I can't stand statistics... Somehow I managed to finish stats 2 last semester with a C. Finance is proving to be just as bad (but thats my prof's fault). I just want to graduate and be done with it.
I flunked 300 level stats (upper division stats) last semester. 1st exam = 50% 2nd exam = 60% I said screw this, there's no way I can pass, so I stopped going, lol.
lol i know! Well 300 level at my school has A and B. A is purely stats, B is stats and linear programming mixed. I don't like either one, lol.
Business statistics was a great class!! Although I hated finance, stats was great. I guess bell curves and z scores just made sense to me. A class I'm taking now in my MBA program focuses on stats and linear models.
It all depends on a prof.....I somewhat liked Stats I and II (did well in both), but I really enjoyed Econometrics and Applied Econometrics (undergrad level). I'll be taking grad level Econometrics...should be fun. lol.
Ugh, I hate Econ too. I do enjoying finance and accounting very much, lol. Currently am an accounting major.
Excel was the only reason I passed that class. Once I found the data analysis tool things got a lot better. Just glad I don't have to deal with it any more. Best of luck to you man.
Computer science majors needs probability cuz we need to see the probability of getting hired and probability of getting fired cuz of tech hiccups
I like stats, mine was a 300 level as well, we had to use a program called "R Program" to do homework, but overall thought it was interesting
given the articles you've written, and the help you've offered throughout many threads, I doubt you will have to worry about that too much. I was an Econ major @ Rutgers. i got in under "academic probation", given I didn't really like high school much, and may not have been there as much as i should have. :waiting2: I am proud to say that I worked my ass off and graduated magna cum laude. :thumb:
