What kind of hydrolic floor jack do you guys use? I wanna get one that is reliable, dependable, preferebly maintaince free, and at the same time won't cost $100 or more.
What do you guys use? Are you happy with it?
I bought myself one from Autozone, and it broke after a few months...it was cheap jack and jack stand kit, something like $25 for that kit..
I was also thinking about Craftsman...is it still made in USA? Is it worth the cost?

    TIA.

Safety / Quality is always worth the extra costs involved. (Just ask the guy who was working under his vehicle when the jack failed and the vehicle fell on him, trapping his legs- he hasn't workd since (a true story, but not mine TTL)

Just my 2 cents on Craftsmen after having one last briefly, the oil seal was leaking within a months time and i read the same problem with there line of jacks.

I always use jackstands either way..But SUV jacks work better than your car jack but you need to use a scissor jack to assist lift on exotics and other lowered cars

I agree, quality is very imprortant. I will be using jackstands either way. Jack will just lift, and then jackstand will take over. Thanks for all replys.

I got my kit from Costo actually, really good deal. Can't remember the brand name but it was a nice kit :thumb:

    Good luck with the purchase.
