Richie..sorry yo hear about your back...i have blown my back out a few times...last time I had acupuncture done and it was like new after 3 treatments.... I still get a spasm every once in awhile..but know your limits..it takes a second to blow it.... hope you get well soon..the pain sucks.. Al
Richy i am a spine expert and STOP GOING TO THE CHIROPRACTOR!!!!!!!!!!!! i am an expert well not really but i have been at a 5 out of 10 level for pain minimum over the last 4.5 years.. if you have problems all i can tell you is go to the best neurologist or spine specialist and have an mri taken.. you could have serious problems.. i am only 27 so age has nothing to do with it and everyone is different.. you are probably suffering from degeneration or a herniated disk that is resting against a nerve most likly in the lower back by the sound of it.. if you have pain going down your left leg then it is for sure lower back.. go to the best.. i am lucky enough to literally have the best here in chicago. the chicago institue of neurology and neuro-research is an awesome place with an awesome staff.. i won't go anywhere else and they have a ton of different procedures that aren't intense surguries.. for example there is a procedure called and idet.. which you can go home afterwords..not inpatient..you get knocked out but basically all they do is cook up the disk with a little metal wire that wraps around the disk and it seals in the fibers.. i have had two with no real luck but everyone is different.. i have multiple issues with my back one day i woke up and haven't been the same since.. just crazy.. i can't golf and i had a +1 handicap.. lost what i wanted to do.. back to the doctors they won't do surgury just to do surgery where i go.. and they have the best explanations period.. best advice i can give is above.. go get an mri and take it to the best doctor around.. don't half ass things with your back and from now on i wouldn't lift anything more than 25lbs.. Good Luck Richy!!!! PM me if you need any advice or anything.
 I am so sorry Richy. I hope you are feeling a little better! Take it easy  Before you return to work, be sure to have a good story about who you were feeling :giggle:
I hope you have a speedy recovery my friend. Back pain sucks, I've hurt my back a few times in my 38 years, even though I can run circles around most 20 year olds I'm not indestructible. Don't rely on the pain meds too much, they will numb the pain and may put you at risk for further injury because you can't feel the pain. Take care.:thumb:
ive suffered from back pain for years and the only thing the helps if i need it is a percocet 10/325. i have a lot of disk issues ect and its getting worse. sucks i dont endorse meds but its the only thing that works when i can move and stuck on the floor from pulling it out ..hate this shit. and im only 36
the problem i made was i landscaped for year and lifted the wrong way and way to much when i was younger and didnt give a shit. intill now . chiro works but i dont have insurance for that . wish i did.
jesus richy you seem to be leading me into pain. my knee got replaced almost the same day as your knee work, today i am being released from the hospital for gall bladder removal. good luck on your back.
Sorry to hear about that Richie, having a bad back is never a good thing. I'm in the same boat as you right now, my MRI shows that I have a ruptured disc in my lower back, which is pushing on my S1 nerve and makes my left leg numb at times. The surgeon said I need to have a microdiscectomy......which really means I would have to be off work for 6 weeks, not sure what to do. Get well buddy. -Kody-
