Great idea, I might definitely try that some time! Thanks.

That's actually good thinking. I have a pressure sprayer that I use to apply my ONR for clay lube and it's amazing how much easier it is than using a regular trigger sprayer. I might have to pick up a few more of these....one for degreaser and one for plain water or maybe even a fourth one for apc. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion my friend!

You know, I thought that would work too, but it doesn't. I tried that on my ES when I last washed it, and initially I thought that would do the trick. I sprayed water in every possible door jam I could find, but after opening the door, 90% of the soap residue was still there... :(

For really dirty ones, I'll spray with APC, use swissvax wheel brush, wipe clean, then go back over it quickly with detail spray and a microfiber. Wax whenever waxing the rest of the car.

Once the initial cleanup has been done, I just wipe them down with a microfiber. The water left in door jams after a normal wash is enough to clean up lightly soiled areas. Use detail spray before wiping up the water if desired...

I have a watering can that I took the rain nozzle off of. So it is now just a single pour spout. I fill it with water a simply rinse the jamb down. No over spray or wasted water.

Once you clean them up, if there is marring or scratches present an AIO polish like OPT poli-seal worked around for a few seconds with a microfiber towel will really take the jamb to the next level.

Use an APC (diluted if necessary), cut up an old cotton t-shirt into several pieces, dampen with APC (not dripping), and scrub away by hand. Toss out the cotton pieces as they become dirty. Do a final rinse with plain water and a clean cloth. Prevent future dirt accumulation by applying a long-lasting synthetic polymer sealant.

I use steam because its very hot to loosen up the gunk in there and the pressure helps move it down to drain out the bottom. Prespray with a Super degreaser will also help ant it rinses cleanly and easily.
Have never damaged any electrical in there using these approaches. Longest skinny brushes work great also sometimes even popsicle sticks wrapped in a towel..
